1. General

1.1 These terms and conditions apply between the person(s) (“Member”/“Members”) registered in the agreement (“Membership Agreement”) and Skimore AS (“Skimore”). These terms shall be considered an integral part of the Membership Agreement. In addition to the Membership Agreement, the Member shall also be bound by the rules that may apply at any time to Skimore’s facilities and other services and offerings from Skimore.

1.2 By registering as a member of Skimore, you agree to the general membership terms set out below. If you register on behalf of another person, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person participating is aware of and accepts these terms. By completing the registration, you guarantee that all other participants have been informed of and accepted these terms.


2. Membership in Skimore

2.1 Membership in Skimore may be taken out by individuals over 18 years old who:

(i) Do not have outstanding debt related to a previous membership with Skimore.

(ii) Have not previously been banned from one or more of Skimore’s partner centers.

(iii) Have not acted improperly in connection with previous membership at Skimore or other Skimore partners.

2.2 Individuals under the age of 18 may join Skimore, provided a parent or guardian enters into the agreement. The guardian will be legally responsible for the membership, including all payments associated with the membership. Personal information associated with such membership will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2.3 The membership is valid from the purchase date until the Membership Agreement terminates in accordance with Chapter 9.

2.4 Skimore membership is an ongoing agreement with a 12-month minimum term (annual membership). The membership will automatically renew for new 12-month periods after the initial term and until terminated in accordance with Chapter 9.

2.5 The membership entitles the Member to use the services offered by Skimore as described in Chapter 3. Additionally, the Member has the right to use available offers in accordance with the applicable terms.


3. Description of the Service

3.1 Access is available to the Member immediately after entering into the agreement. Skimore provides access to Skimore Oslo (TryvannWyller AS), Skimore Drammen (Drammen Skisenter AS), and Skimore Kongsberg (Kongsberg Skisenter AS). This includes Oslo Sommerpark within Skimore Oslo, Drammen Sommerpark within Skimore Drammen, and Kongsberg Sommerpark within Skimore Kongsberg, as well as any member offers available at the time. In addition, the Member will have access to any Partner facilities Skimore may have at any given time.

3.2 The Skimore App allows Members to manage their profile and pay for two types of membership:

A) Individual membership

B) Family membership

Additionally, the App provides access for guests to purchase Guest Passes.

3.3 The App communicates with the payment system and Skidata access systems at the respective facilities. Skimore membership may be used at the facilities mentioned in section 3.1.

3.4 Skimore reserves the right to make certain technical, functional, or other changes to the service as deemed appropriate to ensure the best possible user experience for the Member.


4. Prices

4.1 All prices are in Norwegian kroner and are shown both excluding and including VAT. The total cost of the purchase will be shown prior to checkout and includes all costs associated with the purchase, such as fees, charges, and delivery costs.


5. Payment of Membership

5.1 The Member shall pay the membership fee and any other applicable charges in accordance with Skimore’s current prices. The same applies to a guardian or other person assuming legal responsibility for the membership.

5.2 Payment via debit/credit card or Vipps will be charged immediately.

5.3 If the Member does not pay by the due date, regardless of payment method, a reminder and subsequent debt collection notice with a new due date will be issued. In the event of late payment, Skimore may claim costs and interest in accordance with the Debt Collection Act, the Late Payment Interest Act, and other applicable legislation. Access to facilities may be temporarily suspended until the outstanding amount is paid in accordance with Chapter 7.

5.4 If the Member has defaulted on a payment and receives a reminder, debt collection notice, or debt collection demand from an external debt collector, the payment information on the invoice from the external debt collector shall be used.

5.5 In case of non-payment, Skimore may deny access to the membership facilities, and any liability of Skimore under this agreement shall, to the extent possible under applicable law, cease.


6. Reservation – Member Responsibility

6.1 The Member must:

(i) Familiarize themselves with and follow the applicable safety rules and Alpine rules at the facilities. Failure to comply may result in sanctions as described in Chapter 7.

(ii) Provide correct personal details and a photo when creating the membership. All personal details provided must match the valid ID (passport, driver’s license, bank card, etc.). A recognizable facial photo is mandatory. Photos of animals, nature, cartoons, avatars, etc., are not allowed. Incorrect personal information may result in suspension as described in Chapter 7.

(iii) Include only family members residing at the same address when creating a family membership. Including members outside the registered household may result in suspension and fees as described in Chapter 7.

(iv) Notify Skimore in writing of changes to contact/payment information, including name, address, email, phone number, bank account, and other relevant information. The Member is responsible for keeping this information updated.

(v) Be aware of renewal or payment notifications via email or app messages if an email address is not provided.

6.2 Membership is personal and cannot be transferred or used by others. Misuse may result in sanctions under Chapter 7.

6.3 The Member must not provide access to Skimore’s services to other individuals or legal entities through sharing login information.

6.4.1 The Member is responsible for keeping their Keycard safe to prevent misuse. Suspected misuse must be reported immediately to Skimore.

6.4.2 If the Keycard is lost/forgotten, the Member must notify Skimore immediately. Skimore will block the card and issue a new Keycard. The Member is responsible for Keycard(s) and an administrative fee.


7. Suspension, Keycard Withdrawal

7.1 If incorrect personal details and/or photo are provided when purchasing a Membership/Keycard, access will be suspended until correct information is provided.

7.2 Misuse, including deliberate or inadvertent lending of a Keycard, will result in withdrawal of the Keycard, without refund or credit for future invoices. Withdrawn Keycards may be retrieved by the rightful owner for a fee of NOK 1,500.

7.3 Breach of Alpine rules or failure to follow facility safety rules may result in Keycard withdrawal. Withdrawn Keycards may be retrieved for a fee of NOK 1,500.

7.4 Non-payment as described in Chapter 5 may result in temporary suspension of facility access until the outstanding amount is paid.


8. Privacy and Marketing

8.1 Card information: Payments to Skimore AS are processed by Nets Branch Norway (Org. No. 996 345 734), a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and Mastercard/Eurocard. All card information is stored according to card issuer regulations. Payments via Avtalegiro are handled by Danske Bank and your bank. Payments via Vipps are handled by Vipps AS and your bank.

8.2 Skimore will always process the Member’s personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

8.3 Skimore may send emails or app messages with member offers and offers from partners. These communications are part of the services provided to you as a Member, pursuant to the Marketing Act § 15 third paragraph (existing customer relationship). When entering the Membership Agreement, you may opt out in the app, in accordance with the law.

8.4 Skimore may also send information regarding ski and snow conditions and other relevant updates for your membership.


9. Termination of Membership

9.1 Membership may be terminated by the Member, but must run for at least the 12-month minimum term.

9.2 Before the end of the term, the Member will receive an email or app message regarding opting out if renewal is not desired. Without notification, the membership renews for 12 months.

9.3 Early termination requires payment of fees corresponding to the remaining months of the term.

9.4 Skimore may suspend or terminate membership immediately for substantial breach, including:

(i) Non-payment despite reminders or debt collection notices.

(ii) Substantial violation of obligations under Chapter 6, including failure to comply with written or verbal warnings from Skimore.


10. Freezing Membership

10.1 Membership may be frozen if a Member is sick or injured during the membership period and cannot use it. Pre-existing conditions do not qualify. For family memberships, the monthly fee is reduced proportionally.

10.2 Notification to Skimore must be provided in a timely manner, with a valid medical certificate specifying start and end dates.

10.3 The membership period will be extended by the frozen period.


11. Intellectual Property Rights

11.1 All intellectual property rights in the membership program, content, and materials distributed in connection with the program are owned by Skimore.

11.2 Members must not use or reproduce trademarks or other trade names associated with the program without written permission from Skimore.


12. Right of Withdrawal

12.1 For purchases outside a store (e.g., online or by phone), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal after Skimore fulfills disclosure obligations, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 20. See our withdrawal form here.

12.2 If the service has been used before exercising the right of withdrawal, the Member is responsible for reasonable costs incurred, cf. § 26. Using the Keycard before the end of the withdrawal period will incur Guest Pass fees.

12.3 For purchases in a physical store, there is no right of withdrawal, cf. § 1. This applies even if the Membership Agreement was entered into at a Skimore facility.


13. Personal Injury

13.1 Members use Skimore’s facilities at their own risk. Skimore is not responsible for personal injury incurred during presence or activities at Skimore’s facilities.


14. Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution

14.1 Skimore is not liable for obstacles or restrictions reducing service if beyond Skimore’s control (Force majeure), including epidemics, pandemics, or government orders.

14.2 Parts of slopes may be reserved for competitions and training; no compensation is provided. Same applies for necessary maintenance of lifts or slopes.

14.3 The Skimore App may occasionally be unavailable due to planned/unplanned maintenance, breakdown, or other circumstances. Skimore reserves the right to update or revise the service.

14.4 Skimore reserves the right to make necessary, non-substantial changes to the terms, e.g., correcting errors, clarifying terms, changing names of third-party suppliers. Changes may only be made in October and take effect November 1.

14.5 Membership Agreement is governed by Norwegian law.

14.6 Disputes between the Member and Skimore shall be settled amicably. If unsuccessful, parties may bring the dispute to ordinary courts.
