Locker hire
At Skimore Drammen you can hire practical storage lockers for boots, bags, backpacks and other equipment. That way you can store your belongings while you enjoy the day at the destination.
Hire of storage lockers
The storage lockers are on the ground floor at Arontunet Lodge, and are available within Skimore Drammen's ordinary opening hours. You can hire a locker for one or more days, depending on how long you want to store your equipment.
Choose a hire period
- Day hire: The locker is available on the chosen date, within the destination's opening hours.
- Hire over several days: If you want to store equipment overnight, you must book the locker for at least two days, for example Saturday and Sunday.

Terms for hiring a storage locker
1. The parties and scope
1.1 These terms apply to the hire of storage lockers (lockers) at Drammen Skisenter AS (hereafter the «Ski resort»).
1.2 The agreement is entered into between the Ski resort and the person who books and pays for the locker (hereafter the «Hirer»).
2. Booking and payment
2.1 Booking of a locker is done online via Skimore.no and paid with Vipps.
2.2 The agreement is considered entered into when payment has been registered, and the Hirer has received confirmation by SMS.
2.3 The booking is personal and cannot be transferred to others without the Ski resort's consent.
3. Hire period and time of use
3.1 The lockers are on the ground floor at Arontunet Lodge and are available within the ski resort's ordinary opening hours.
3.2 Day hire applies to the day chosen at booking, within the resort's opening hours that same day.
3.3 If the Hirer wants to store equipment overnight (from one operating day to the next), at least two days must be booked and paid for.
3.4 An unused or partly used hire period does not entitle you to a refund.
4. Use of the locker
4.1 The locker is only intended for storing ski equipment such as backpacks, boots and clothing. There's no room for skis and poles.
4.2 The Hirer shall treat the locker carefully and is responsible for damage to the locker beyond normal wear and tear.
4.3 The locker shall be kept closed and locked when not in use.
5. Key/code, loss and breach
5.1 Access to the locker is given via a code as stated in the booking system.
5.2 The Hirer shall not share the code with unauthorised persons.
5.3 In the event of loss of the code or the need to open the locker, the Ski resort may charge a fee for replacement/administration.
5.4 If the Hirer uses the locker in breach of the terms, or the hire period has expired, the Ski resort may open the locker, empty the contents and make the locker available for new hire.
6. Responsibility for contents – limitation of liability
6.1 The Hirer has full responsibility for the belongings placed in the locker.
6.2 The Ski resort is not responsible for loss, theft of or damage to items stored in the locker, unless the loss is clearly due to gross negligence on the Ski resort's part.
6.3 The Hirer is advised to have their own insurance covering loss of or damage to personal belongings.
6.4 The Ski resort is not responsible for indirect loss, consequential damage or financial loss as a result of any lack of access to the locker (for example a technical fault), beyond what follows from mandatory Norwegian law.
7. Ending the hire, emptying and lost property
7.1 The Hirer is obliged to empty and lock the locker at the end of the paid hire period.
7.2 After the hire period expires, the Ski resort may open and empty the locker without further notice.
7.3 Items taken out of a locker after the hire period expires will be treated as lost property and stored for a limited period, normally one month after the end of the season, before being thrown away or given to charity.
8. Cancellation and right of withdrawal
8.1 Hire of a locker is linked to a specific date/period in connection with a leisure activity (use of a ski resort). Under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, such time-specific leisure services are exempt from the right of withdrawal.
8.2 When booking a date/specific period, the Hirer therefore accepts that there is no right of withdrawal under the Right of Withdrawal Act.
9. Personal data
9.1 The Ski resort processes personal data about the Hirer (for example name, contact information, hire period and payment reference) in order to administer the hire relationship.
9.2 Payment is handled via Vipps in accordance with Vipps' own terms.
9.3 More information about how the Ski resort processes personal data can be found in our privacy policy.
10. Changes to terms and disputes
10.1 The Ski resort may update these terms as needed.
10.2 The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes are sought resolved amicably. If this is not successful, the dispute may be brought before the ordinary courts with venue at Buskerud District Court.
