Conditions for sledge hire – sledging
Updated: 8 Dec 2025
Right of withdrawal for booking/hire of a sledge
There is no right of withdrawal for booking and hire of a sledge/time, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act section 22, first paragraph, letter m).
Please note that no refund is given for hire in the event of bad weather or other circumstances outside our control (Force majeure).
Recommended safety rules:
Show consideration and sledge with common sense.
Adapt your speed.
Take it easy and familiarise yourself with the run if it's the first time you're sledging.
Use a helmet and goggles.
If you have to stop/fall on the hill, move well to the side so the run is clear for others sledging.
During busy times (Saturdays and Sundays), those with small/younger children should avoid the busiest times of day.
All sledging is at your own risk.
