Climbing for children in Skien – play, achievement and fun!

For the youngest (ages 6–9) we have recreational climbing (also called children's climbing) one evening a week over 10 weeks. Here the children get to explore climbing at their own pace, with guidance from our instructors. Auto-belay climbing, bouldering or basic climbing skills – there are lots of fun challenges along the way!

Climbing for teenagers – more challenge, more fun!

Youth climbing (ages 9–12) is an evening offer that also runs over ten weeks. Here the young people get a thorough introduction to various forms of climbing, safety and techniques, and learn new skills on the climbing walls. The energy level is often high – and we like that!

Want to get really good? Join the climbing school!

For young people between 13 and 18 who want to take their climbing to the next level, we have a climbing school! Here we train in both bouldering and rope climbing, from basic to advanced technique. The focus is on strength, mobility and individual follow-up from our instructors, so the young people can push their limits in safe surroundings. The climbing school runs one fixed day a week, and participants sign up for the whole period. A climbing certificate (brattkort) is not required, but can be a plus, since we climb with ropes along the way.

The highlight of the summer: Climbing camp!

Are you looking for a legendary summer-holiday activity for children and teenagers in Skien? Our summer camp runs over five days and is packed with climbing, outdoor life, new friendships and experiences. We climb both outdoors and indoors, and visit Høyt & Lavt Vestfold – Scandinavia's largest climbing park!
