BuldreJam at Høyt Under Taket Tønsberg
A social and informal bouldering competition!
What exactly is BuldreJam?
A BuldreJam is when we gather in a relaxed setting to explore different challenges, or "problems" as we like to call them in boulder-speak. BuldreJam at Høyt Under Taket Tønsberg is a popular event, and you're welcome to join!
BuldreJam at Høyt Under Taket
Bouldering involves climbing without a rope or harness – you just use climbing shoes to get up and across. In addition to being a good activity for the body, bouldering is also a social activity. While traditional climbing often involves being high up on climbing walls, bouldering takes place on lower walls, which gives more opportunity to stay in contact with others. These can be bouldering friends who provide support and motivation, or instructors who provide guidance and tips. This makes bouldering an engaging and social way to train.
BuldreJam makes bouldering extra fun!
For us, the community is the very best thing about bouldering. We want to bring more people along and get better at bouldering at the same time, and maybe spark a little competitive flame in you if you fancy joining us to boulder!
How BuldreJam works
When you take part in BuldreJam, it's about bouldering as many routes as possible within 2.5 hours. You fill in your own scorecard and collect points based on how many tops and zones you manage to reach. The results are only divided into categories for women and men.
When the competition part of BuldreJam is over, we finish together with a prize draw. That way everyone has a chance to win something!

Climbing Pub for adults
When evening comes, there's an 18-year age limit at the climbing centre (sorry, kids!). From 21:00 to 23:00 we offer pizza and socialising for adults.
Want pizza after BuldreJam? Remember to order BEFORE the jam starts, so our staff can sort everything out by the time you've finished bouldering.
Keep an eye on our website for the next BuldreJam date.
