About the resort

Here you'll find a complete alpine offering with varied challenges across 6 runs and a vertical drop of 350 metres. The resort has 5 lifts, one of which is a free magic carpet. There are slopes for children and beginners (Hakkebakken and Trollparken), one of Norway's best terrain parks, and the tough, challenging Ola run that has put a fright into more than one seasoned skier.

An alpine resort for everyone

Varingskollen has an excellent family offering – bring the kids and spend the whole day with us. There are heaps of experiences lined up for young and old, with areas for snow play and good opportunities for sledging for the very youngest.

The longest slope is 1,600 metres long with a vertical drop of 350 metres. Here there's a ski school, ski hire, two eateries, a warming hut, and everything you could want from a full-service alpine resort. With a location 546 metres above sea level, snow cannons and floodlighting on 5 of 6 runs, our normal season runs from early December to mid-April.
