The ski workshop is open – drop by!

Our ski workshop is the country's most advanced and complete provider of grinding and repair of skis and snowboards. Through close cooperation with machine suppliers and wax producers, we're always at the forefront of developments. That's also why we work with several of Eastern Norway's leading sports retailers. 

The grinding department has the biggest and most powerful machine Wintersteiger has ever sold in Scandinavia, and in addition we have a further three stone-grinding machines. One for snowboards and two for alpine skis. We also have a belt grinder, base fillers, heat cabinets, an infrared hot waxer, waxing machines, a brushing machine, a scraping machine, and lots of other gear.

In the repair department we have a heap of special tools and gadgets that Tomm has made or adapted over the last 50 years. We can repair virtually any damage to skis and boards. Whether the ski is cracked, broken, torn or splintered, we can fix it. We replace steel edges, bases and just about anything else. All this so we can offer you as a customer the optimal result.

Member grind prices:

We have three different prices for a member grind. When you hand in your skis and snowboard, we always go through it with you so we can recommend the best grind for your use.

But in all three options the ski first goes through a thorough coarse grind to remove unevenness and warps in the ski, and patch any damage. We then move on to a slightly finer grind to remove the coarse grind and make the ski smooth. Once the skis are flat and smooth, we can go on to set up the structure in the base and set your edges to the right angle. Once this is done, the skis are waxed and ready for new days on the slopes. 

Member grind:

ski NOK 550 / snowboard NOK 700

The standard member grind is our simplest grind, where everything is done fully automatically in our machines.

Member grind + ski:

NOK 700 / snowboard NOK 900 

Member grind + is an advanced grind where we control every step of the process. This is a great grind that gives you that little extra for a really good skiing experience.

Member grind Super:

NOK 800

Super is for those who want an even more aggressive ski. Here you can choose the angle of your edges yourself. This is a grind for those who want an even more aggressive ski. This grind will give you a magical skiing experience whether you're advanced or an expert.

NOTE: The ski workshop is located in Wyller, Zinoberveien 16. All equipment is dropped off and collected there.
