Has doubled the number of events in one year
The indoor ski hall SNØ has doubled the number of events over the past year after hiring its own event manager.
Last year, SNØ stepped up its efforts on events and hired its own event manager. Over the past year, the number of events has doubled.
"We make it easy for grown adults to have fun", says event manager Hanne Egge Hveem (32), who got the job last August.
Companies such as DNB, Skanska, EY, PwC, Coop and Visma have held events here. SNØ has created a range of concepts – from winter games to parallel slalom and sledging competitions – and has capacity for several hundred people at a time.
On site there is a dedicated restaurant that often supplies food for the events. At the end of May, a huge SNØborg was built inside the snow hall – one of Europe's largest indoor snow castles.
Although most are companies, there are also many private events; the place is popular for children's birthdays and stag and hen parties.
