Squirrel race and squirrel-lines sledging competition

On Wednesday 18 February we invite you to an activity day at Varingskollen, a fun day with a low-threshold race for the youngest and a sledging competition for everyone who wants to join.

We'll provide a great atmosphere with a speaker and music throughout the event.

The squirrel race starts at the top of Hakkebakken at around 13:00. We ask all participants to turn up about 15 minutes before the start to register.

A small course with a start and finish is set up for the participants to ride through. There will also be timing, just for fun, for those who enjoy seeing how fast they can get down. Each participant gets to do two rounds during the activity. We have staff on the course to help along the way.

All participants get a little token after completing the race.

We also hold a sledging competition for those who want to take part – the same principle applies here. Turn up 15 minutes before to register. You can ride together, for example a parent and child as a team. Feel free to come up with a cool team name beforehand ;) 

All teams, or individual participants, also get a token after completing the competition.
